Attending mini-concerts in Adele's room, her mother watched her daughter impersonate the Spice Girls, her favorite group. Adele loves being the center of attention, so performing in front of people was never a problem. She also loves writing poetry, and her debut album “19” was written about her “tween” years of eighteen and nineteen when she was in a relationship. It is about experiencing love, being cheated on, and not getting what you want, which are fairly universal concepts of emotions in teenagers, as well as adults. Her fans can relate to her music because of this, making the beautiful voice singing the words, that much more meaningful. While Adele was in The BRIT School for Performing Arts & Technology in 2006, she wrote three songs for a class project. Her demo was posted on Myspace, by a friend, and very shortly after that, she got a call from XL Recordings, and she signed with them that same year. Influences on her music include Rhythm and Blues artists Aaliyah, Mary J. Blige, and Destiny's Child. Her sultry, robust and soul-tinged voice, along with her songs of love and memories, make her performances incredible. Although she has experienced a hemorrhaged vocal chord this year, and has canceled many of her United States tour dates, she is ready to tour again, doing what she most loves, singing beautifully. Adele's melodies exude warmth, and she offers something for everyone. Concert Tickets for Adele's Atlanta performance are now available. |
