With her debut album “19” released in 2008, and selling over four million copies, Adele, the English singer-songwriter is achieving new records with her music.  Honored by being the first recipient of the Brit Awards Critics' Choice, Adele has gone on to record yet another album “21”, released in the United States in February, 2011.  Touring all over the world, her rich, robust, and sultry, soul-tinged voice still amazes the crowds.  Songs such as “Hometown Glory”, “Chasing Pavement”, and “Someone Like You” have won numerous awards, adding to her popularity in seventeen countries.  Her songs are of her life and memories of places, and people that she has known, and her style has something for everyone, without catering to a particular trend.  Tickets for Adele's concerts are available today.

Adele Laurie Blue Adkins began singing at age four.  She admits loving being able to be the center of attention, and as a young girl, used to hold little concerts in her bedroom, where she would impersonate the Spice Girls.  They were a big influence in her music, as well as a Pink concert that she attended when she was in her teens.  At sixteen, she wrote “Hometown Glory” reflecting on her memories of London.  After moving to West Norwood, she was then influenced by Rhythm & Blues artists such as Aaliyah, Destiny's Child and Mary J. Blige.  She graduated from the BRIT School for Performing Arts & Technology in 2006, where a three song demo for a class project was posted on Myspace by a friend, becoming incredibly popular.  She then received a call from XL Recordings, and signed with them in September, 2006.

Touring the world and enjoying her success greatly has also caused problems.  Adele experienced a hemorrhaged vocal chord this year, requiring her to cancel many tour dates.  Resting and recuperating, she looks forward to making up  the canceled performance dates.  She has been nominated for four Grammy Awards, and is also in the Guinness Book of World Records for creating new heights in record-breaking music.  At 23 years old, The British songbird has accomplished so much, and will continue to write, and sing again soon.  2011 Adele Concert Tickets are available today.
